The National Energy Research Scientific Computing User Group (NUG) is composed of user representatives from the NERSC customer laboratories and university sites. This group provides guidance to both NERSC and the Department of Energy Office of Science about the current services offered by NERSC and the direction of future development. Members of NUG attend bi-annual meetings and participate in monthly teleconferences to discuss topics of current interest. This year a Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) session will be held during SC2003. Among this year's topics will be the FY'04 allocations process, the INCITE Program, management of the Center's computing systems including job class structure, and future plans. All NERSC users are invited to attend. Representatives of the Center will be in attendance to present and to solicit input and feedback. Information on NERSC is available at http://hpcf.nersc.gov/. |
