America West, Southwest Airlines Offer
Discounts for SC2003
Both America West and Southwest airlines are offering special
discounts for SC2003 attendees. Here are the details:
On flights from November 6-27, America West Airlines is offering
a discount of up to 10 percent on airfare, plus other travel
discount options to and from the ACM/IEEE SC 2003 conference.
Use the Convention and Meeting Services (CAMS) Code AP4074
to receive your discounts.
There are three options for making your discounted reservations
- Use your CAMS Code at americawest.com
in the eCertificate area of the home or Air Schedules and
Reservations pages for your airline reservations. Your discount
will be outlined in detail on the Purchase page. Enter AP4074T
if purchasing your tickets 60 days or more prior to travel
and AP4074 for ticket purchases less than 60 days prior
to travel.
- Call the America West Group & Specialty
Travel Department directly at 800-548-7575 from 8 a.m.-5
p.m. Monday through Friday (any time zone in continental
U.S.).
- Contact your preferred travel agent and
reference your CAMS Code.
Southwest Airlines offers up to 10 percent
off most fares for air travel to and from SC2003, with the
convenience of Ticketless Travel. To qualify, call Southwest
Airlines Group and Meetings Reservations at (800) 433-5368
and reference the assigned ID Code number A0221. Reservations
sales agents are available 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, or
8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Central Standard
Time.
Conference Shuttle Buses
SC2003 will again be providing shuttle bus service between
the conference hotels and the Phoenix Civic Plaza Convention
Center. Bus service is provided at no cost to attendees and
will run every 15-20 minutes during the following times:
Saturday, Nov. 15: Noon to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 16: 7:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 17: 7:15 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 18: 7:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 19: 7:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 20: 7:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 21: 7:15 a.m. to 2: p.m.

Parking in the Phoenix Civic Plaza area
There are a number of parking garages in the convention center

First Aid and Emergency Help
In the Convention Center, First Aid stations are located in
Hall B and in Hall E. For other emergencies in the Convention
Center, please contact one of the Guardsmark security officers
on duty in the facility.
