SC2003 Infrastructure

While most SC conference attendees focus on the technical presentations and extensive exhibits, underlying the conference is a strong infrastructure assembled by a committee of volunteers.

The Infrastructure Committee ensures that conference registration goes as smoothly as possible, that food and refreshments are provided, that speakers have the necessary audio-visual equipment and that directional signs are in place to help attendees find their way. The committee is also in charge of room assignments, the email room and other details that contribute to the overall success of the conference.

Another key component of the conference infrastructure is SCinet, the network built especially for the SC conference each year.
