SC2003 will again provide the premier international platform for scientists, engineers, computer scientists and information technologists from universities and government laboratories to display their latest computational science breakthroughs, research and development concepts, software and technologies. Demonstrations done in collaboration with industry partners will provide an opportunity to showcase innovative research efforts and illustrate how computing is increasing our knowledge of our universe, our planet, our environments, ourselves and the materials and forces that shape our lives. A survey of attendees showed that 71% of the attendees found the interaction between research and industry exhibitors to be valuable or very valuable to their experience on the exhibit floor.
